Sunday was the first truly sunny day in a while, so I took the opportunity to walk around after church. I bought a Croque Monsieur and a patisserie 'symphony' at a boulangerie and then ate on the bench pictured, which is on the edge of the Champ de Mars, by the Eiffel Tower. In the garden behind the bench, there are some flowers which are just starting to bloom -- crocus flowers, I think.

Maggie and I got your letter and loved it. Thanks for sending us your info. We are in fact coming to Gay Paris between 6/29/2006 and 7/07/2006, and then we're taking a road trip up to Normandy, down the coast of the Bay o' Biscay and ending up in Bordeaux. We're back in Paris on 7/11 to fly back home.
